The House

The House

Inner Circle is not a concert hall. It is a home — a contemporary house of light, white oak, and stone in Chevy Chase, Maryland, where walls of glass open to a quiet garden and the rooms are hung with art gathered over a lifetime.

For a handful of evenings each year, we open these rooms to a small circle of listeners. There is no stage and there is no distance. The musicians perform from the floor of the living room, a few feet away, and the natural resonance of the instruments fills the space the way it was always meant to — intimately, without amplification, without barriers.

This is the oldest way to hear Hindustani classical music: in a room, among friends, in the warmth of a home. We simply offer the room.

The salon — where the circle gathers, just feet from the performers.

Inner Circle is more than a concert series — it is a fellowship of listeners. Join to be among the first to receive invitations to our intimate evenings, often before they are announced anywhere else.
